This tool started from a simple observation: freelancers and solo business owners often leave items out when they write a quote. You paste the text of a service request (RFP), and the AI classifies the work items, estimates the effort for each, and presents the quote as "a reasonable range plus the reasoning behind it" rather than a fixed price.
I first built the analysis engine on the Claude API, but then realized my subscription plan doesn't cover pay-as-you-go API usage, so I switched to the more affordable Gemini API. While changing models, I also adopted structured output (an enforced JSON schema) to make parsing more reliable.
What I cared about most was not storing any data. Service requests can contain client information or confidential project details, so the tool never writes the uploaded content or the analysis result to a database β everything is discarded from server memory as soon as the response is sent. "We don't store what you upload" is the core trust point of this tool.
The same day, I also started preparing for the Google AdSense review.
