Following the quote generator, I added a profit calculator: enter the contract amount and your costs, and it instantly shows net profit, margin, and your effective hourly rate. Interestingly, two separate work sessions on the same day each built a different version of the calculator, and I had to pick one when merging. I kept the version based on the contract amount, with labor and outsourcing costs entered in detail.
The biggest task of the day was multilingual support. I adopted the next-intl library and split every page into /ko and /en paths. I limited translation to UI text; instead of rewriting each blog post in both languages, I separated the categories themselves by locale β Korean and English categories are run separately from the start.
This was also when I first added promo banners to point visitors to the quote generator and profit calculator.
